Qualitative Research
Qualitative Research gets behind the
numbers to identify such things as processes, issues
and barriers. We can design a qualitative research
project or work with your design. Our approach involves
rigorous data-collection, careful analysis and clarity
in presenting findings.
Needs Studies
Needs Studies are an important tool
in identifying service requirements, designing programs
and determining resource levels. Needs Studies are
a basic necessity prior to establishing a new service
and can inform management about the direction or scope
of existing programs. Such studies may be a requirement
of your funding body or other stakeholders. We work
with you to design measurement instruments and methodologies
to uncover essential information you need to make
decisions.
Organizational Reviews
Organizational Reviews are a means
to step back from the day to day and examine the big
picture across an organization or within a department.
Reviews are helpful when an organization is experiencing
shifts in the resource base, new service pressures,
changes in leadership or stresses of unknown origin.
The review can shed light on the issues facing your
organization and help you renew focus or identify
emerging priorities. Coristine & Associates will
work with you to devise the scope and process of your
review.
Program Evaluation
Program Evaluation is pivotal to effective
service delivery and resource allocation. Coristine
& Associates bases its evaluation design on a
logic model of your program or service. The model
provides the map that identifies the linkages among
resources, program processes and outcomes. Using a
logic model not only defines the parameters of an
evaluation but provides you with a guide for monitoring
your service on an ongoing basis. We identify key
questions that you need answered and design both data-gathering
tools and processes specific to your requirements.
Qualitative Audits
Qualitative Audits provide a
means to examine specific aspects of an organization
such as adherence to governance requirements, operational
policies, training and development programs, human
resource procedures or program implementation practices.
An audit can provide you with data that brings focus
to your next steps and helps with management decision-making.
